Portable DVD Player Doesnt Read Disc

Have had it for about a year and half but rarely use it

Switches on fine and everything but it doesnt read any discs,
the disc is spinning like normal and everything too
its one of these
not sure if same model no but looks exactly the same

i have 1 picture to show you, but since portable dvd players are moved alot it could be that the reader is jammed, a piece of "film like" plastic moves it up and down rapidly to read the disc, if it gets budged
to the side then it can move, make sure its strait and untwisted

right under the spiral that spins the disc is the reader,
your reader may also be dirty, you can clean it with the same material used to clean glasses,
