i have a v9 ps2 (no mod). i have my network adaptor but i have yet to obtain my ide hdd. i was reading the tutorial and what i want to know is if i do indeed need swap magic. THere's a piece on the tutorial where it states that i can run hdloader though my memory card, but i am not quite sure if i need my console modded for that to work. I hope to master this technique so if anyone has any suggestions and thoughts to share...don't hesitate to give me a hand. thank you

wow that's pretty cool..and it looks like a simple tutorial. thank you so much

EDIT: i also have one more question. there's a compatibility list of games to work on the HDD??? So some games for example Ratchet & Clank will not be playable??? or will having the latest HDLoader make it playable???
