nah...srry

Im not goan sell it, not because i dont trust you I just dont want to go through teh hassle. I already customized it my way.
Speaking of that, I tried dowgrading to 1.5 using the easy installer but it shows me this error, it says I cant continue teh process, like it wont even let me start it. I dont know if it has something to do with the fact that I put a theme cycler on it and cahnged the theme of teh psp, thus chganging the flash 1 drive, and probably replacing the original one.
Im scared that if I delete teh theme cycler now from the mery stick then there wont be a theme left on the flash 1 and thus i would brick the psp, because I know messing with that stuff is very dangerous, unfortunately i didnt know that until I did it :( (changed my theme on teh psp)
Therefore Im looking for ur advice as to what might eb happening or what shoudl I do? Is it ok to delete teh theme cycler now?
thnx

LOL, i have two 1 gigs but i do need them since i have so many isos iwant to put on there, I alreday filled up one with music movies and photos, and the other one will probably only fit like 1 iso.

If you want a memory stick i suggest buying on ebay. I'm actually thinking of buying a 4 gig one on ebay. YOu can get a fake one that people make in hong kong for about 5 dollars with shipping costing about 30 so for 35 dollars u can get a 4 gig card. That's pretty crazy compared to $120 in bestbuy or future shop.

aOh and also, I tried running that recovery program and it still doent work even when my psp isnt connected with the usb cord. It keeps showing some kind of an error and then it says cant create F:PSP/GAME/RECOVERY
???what do I do???

download this
http://www.sendspace.com/file/kidgxi
extract it, and theres a folder called RECOVERY. put that in PSP/GAME
then run it from the recovery menu.

(+[__]%) put this psp in ur siggy. just do it.
PSP Firmware: constantly changing, currently GoldenEye.

What happend, the reason I can't put the recovery folder in using the easy isntaller, is because I used a new theme which filled up my flash0 drive, which is not very big, and that is also teh place where the recovery folder is put. Therefore before i can't put a recovery folder in, I have to take out the theme somehow without bricking the psp and putting back the old one which I didnt save :(

Once I figure out how to do that I'll be able to downgrade.

YEah I forgot to add that the cutom firmwares 3.03 OE and higher have low flash memory, I am certain that what I'm saying is correct. Since I downloaded the theme package, I don't get that flash start with teh sound because there isn't enough memory for that, therfore there isn't enough memory for the recovery folder.

Here they talk all about it. Thers ways to enter the flash:

I just don't have time for thsi type of concentration right now since I have exams all this week until next monday, then I'll figure all this out. But I have to bereally careful because you can brick your psp really easy if you mess with that stuf wrong.

To simplify everything, the 1.5 Recovery just places the key files needed to downgrade back to 1.5 on your memory stick. So I would format your memory stick before trying to "recover" again. As for a full Flash 0 goes, the program Flash Agent can safely remove like 2.5 mb of unused language files and fonts. It can be used for customizing and what not but for your purposes I just listed the ability to clear a large hunk of Flash 0 out.

ok so I want to run the easy winstaller but it woon't let me. I have my usb connected and then i run the easy winstaller from my desktop and it says choose the drive. Doesn't matter which one I choose, if I choose F G H or I, it always shows thsi message "Exception processing Message c0000013 Parameters 75b6bf9c 4 75b6bf9c 75b6bf9c"
and after that message it says can't create folder K:PSP/GAME/RECOVERY.
So I created that folder manually too, but it still doesn't work...
any ideas what might be wrong?

Okay when the recovery winstaller says "choose drive letter" it doesn't mean any random drive letter. It means choose the drive letter that your PSP is.

And if you have semibricked the best thing to do would be to downgrade and then reinstall your custom firmware.

AHHHH I fixed it
what i was suppose to was put the winstaller in the K drive and then run it, after that i had teh option to put it in the k drive. anyways I recovered it back to 1.5 and then brough it back to 3.40 OE-A
The only bad thing I found out is that the firmware is not the problem as to why my wifi is not working.
I guess I have to get a new wifi card and put apart the psp after all. But I dont feel bad because I did all I could to try to fix it.
Thnx for all your help, you guys have been supporting on the way, PeaInAPod, mrmcman, and gangsta00.
Thnx for all ur help.
