my psp is firmware 3.40 (normal sony upgrade) and i am confused. what options do i have to play my downloaded ISO's? any help would be much appreciated thank you :)

at this point you dont have options...however you could trade your PSP for one that has a firmware of 3.03 or lower, that way you could downgrade and then use a custom firmware to enable homebrew and playing ISo's-but until then you are pretty much stuck-no downgrader for you as of yet.
