I got a .mdf file only, NOT a .mds...so when burning you have to specifiy the whole thing for yourself...is there a guide of some sort for these situations. Havent been able to find it but i have two games wich are only .mdf and dont have a .mds file.. I was wondering what kind of ways there were for making it work
so in short: How do i get a .MDF (without the .mds) working as a valid PS2 disc?
Thanks

okay well daemon doesnt like to make it a virtual disc but poweriso does. So what do i do from here, just a regular cd copy or do i have to rip it using the guides stickied? Also i know for sure the game is a workable cause a ps2 emu can actually run the game..

.MDF is Alcohol 120%'s native image format. Therefore, try burning the .MDF file with Alcohol 120%.

already tried burning with alcohol but i have .mdf only (no .mds) so that would mean id have to set blocks and such myself. I have no idea how to set this up. Whenever i burned the .mdf with alcohol i got not a valid ps2 disc when swapping..

Ok there is nothing special really about that ISO, it should only be about 1.35GB
Is it PAL or NTSC

dont really know about the version, however havent had ntsc/pal trouble before with import games. Jak & Daxter is about 700ish mb wich makes it fit on a cd

I have the original game Jak & Daxter The Precursor Legacy, thats how I know its 1.35GB, can't imagine why yours would be shrunk and on CD.
That could be your problem then I am not sure. I know its listed by others as working fine with SM 3.3 and up.
NTSC has this file SCUS_971.24.

Ok then no problem. Yes would like to hear if you get it figured out or not. There was also a Greatist Hits Jak & Daxter The Precursor Legacy and I have no idea if its the same size or what.
