when i upgrde to 3.40 I started the Insaller for 3.40 it goes off

Ok first things first. Your trying to go from v2.8 to 3.40oe.
1) You cant do that, you can only update to a custom firmware from sony firmware version 1.5
2)First downgrade your version, use google to find a 2.82 easy downgrader.
3)Once on 1.5 find the 3.40oea update and THEN you can do it.
