i have a dreambox 500 satelite
and was wondering if there is a patch so i can use my sky card with it
or preferably no card at all to watch scrambled channels
also i have dbox2 sagem with multicam and what software would i need
so i can use my sky card with this?

Install the latest gemini image for your 500s, install cccam and config file via online addon and select cccam as standard cam.
Install newcs and evocamd or mgcamd for your sat sagem box.
By the way sky via satellite is not hacked.

If you installed a gemini image connect the dreambox to your router, enable DHCP and restart network, blue button -> online addon.

hi that was great everything worked fine.
i have a problem now cant get remote to work.i have another dreambox
which the remote works fine on.also cant get passed set up screen for lan etc
i have installed enigma image and gemini and is still the same
any ideas?

hi i am really stuck i have a dreambox 500s, the image gemini is already installed on itm i have scanned for the channels and got loads but some of them like sky sports i cannot watch as they are encrypted which means i cant watch them, how can i decrypt them please and can someone give me a step by step guide inc what sites i might need to go to and get the images or something for the box.

Sky via satellite is simply not hacked. Sagem1 get the scrambled channels via his valid sky card.

Hi,
I have the same question.
This is what I have
Dreambox 500s
running gemini 3.6.0
I do not have a sky or any other card in my dreambox. From what I read there are keys available on several websites to download into the dreambox and voila. It should show all channels that your dish can receive from the satellites.
So far I can only see FTA channels. I have all the right tools, but lack of knowledge about the keys
Any help is much appreciated.

Someone has to crack the scrambling system first and someone has to code an emulator.
Vidoguard (NDS) from sky via satellite is not cracked.
Some channels via other satellites are hacked but not all. Most of the channels give you a language you don't understand. Some movie channels offer an additional audio track in english but also not all.

I have a problem as well and I would very much appreciate some help if it's possible. I have a dreambox 500 to which I have installed the latest gemini image,newcamd and a series of keys , but the thing is that I couldn't get it to work. I read your previous posts on the subject and I would like to ask , if it's possible , for a strategy in steps so that I can see at least some programs exept the FTA ones. Thank you very much.

First, what is your location and what satellite dish(es) are you pointing at?
There are a few packages that are 'open' but this entails collecting the correct keys.
'softcam' key files can be ftp'd to var/keys.
Then Restart your cam (blue button)

Firstly i have a dreambox 500s,80cm dish all are connected when i conect my dreambox and input transponder for optus c1 12478/H/27800 i scan and i dont find anything. at first i thought it was the dish that was stuffed and smething was wrng with it but then i connected the dish to a sanyo sky and scanned for optus c1 and i found all channels can you please tell me why my dreambox cant find all the channels . and how can i get optus c1 channels free.

Try 12305H symbol rate 30000 fec 3/4 and enable ONIT BAT and network search in the manual scan menue.

i think the best option is to get a dreambox 500-c, its much easier and you get loads of channels, does anyone know the cheapest and best place to get one from???
i heard the dm500-c is just plug in and play with the right software on it.

hi reeso i boughtmy dm500-c from Cable Kings UK (www.cablekings.co.uk)
They are amazing and do very fast delivery, i bought mine mondaymorning and had it tuesday morning, they also have 24/7 support so when i had a problem they helped me straight away they are really good check them out.

Dear mgb17,
I tried what you told me and it still never worrked can you please try to help me i inputted:
Frequency: 12305 Horizontal Symbol Rate: 30000 Fec: 3/4 Enabled Onit & Bat & Network Search and it still never worked when i press search itll say DONE then Transponder scan has finished and found 0.
please try to help me out.
