interesting story lol
ok
i was on a 3.03oe-c and wanted to upgrade to a 3.40oe-a
but when i tried to start the new installer i got the message game could not be started 8002014C so i tried to play the games that worked on 3.03 before because i was still on 3.03 and they diddnt work anymore =(
so i ran the recovery mode and got somehow back to 1.5 and after succesfully "installing" i got a black screen which after a about a min
went back to normal and i could see everything again lol but it turned black again after i pushed the arrow button and i diddnt know how to fix it so i connected usb and installed my old 3.03oe-c on it again and everything worked AGAIN!!!! SOO NICE took me about 2 hrs
maybe this helps u guys in case u have a black screen

That would be known as a semi-brick, which can be easily fixed by booting into recovery mode. You just happened to figure that out all by yourself. Nice job B)

heh lol
but i still can't play my old isos on 3.03oe-c after that brick
and i can't get into recovery either
it just freezes after holding the r button
i think that won't be able to fix it in anyway or do u know how?
is it possible to upgrade the firmware to a new 1 so i can play the new games on it? oe-c to oe-a diddn't work lol

upgrade to 3.40oe. Maybe your flash1 is messed up.

Hit the brightness button when you enter recovery. My bet is that you have the screen turned off.

Was this a downgraded TA-082? My bet is yes.

it was a 2.8 firmware which a friend of mine downgraded to 1.5 and i installed 3.03oe-c on it
its really gay that the new games won't work on it
