My friend wants me to upgrade his psp to a 3.40 oe-a from a 1.5. . I upgraded mine with an easy installer but i cant find it anymore in my computer. Also i wanted to do this manually. I got up to this step in upgrading his psp.

Copy 340oeflasher and 340oeflasher% to /PSP/GAME if you are in 1.50, or to /PSP/GAME150 if you
are in any SE/OE version. Move the DATA.DXAR to 340oeflasher directory.
I moved the DATA.DXAR file to the 340oeflasher directory. And now im stuck. Do i start my psp now or close the usb connection. And what does this mean.

You need 75% battery, although you can skip this if you pressed L+triangle while loading the program. I get the 75% but i dont get the rest.

simply start the psp go to the game tab and select the install 3.40 oe firmware option and it will run the program
