hello evrey 1. i have a prob with burnin my dvd using Nero. i used the Nero vision to transcode my AVI file to dvd an it took quiet somee time to complete. now i want to use the burning to burn my pr
poject but it keeps saying that dvd-video applience test has failed.and that back up files "vts_01_0.bup"should be identical to "vts_01_0.ifo.
can anyone please telll me what am i doing wrong.
i was wondering could this have happened because i added a menu with music to the mooviie that am trying to put on my blank DVD+R

Nero didn't like that file.Try converting the AVI with this program.

Import the file(s) (AVI, MPEG, VOB)
Output (standard DVD file format) to a folder on the HDD.
Set 'Aspect' to 4:3 (if you have a regular tv)
Set 'Standard' to NTSC (if you live in North America)

try not to double post your questions..... it's against forum rules and it's very annoying!

you added things to your AVI and then tried Nero to convert your file to DVD compliant files..... that could be the reason why your IFO is different than the BUP files! try just converting the AVI alone..... without added menu with music!

ConvertXToDVd is a great program to try out! there is also AVS Video Converter, too! great program!
