i need help i went to start game then to linux then to checkppoints. then it just freezes right there

no, cvan not direct link. But what you need are few things first.
1. AR Max for Xbox
2. Splinter Cell (which you have)
3. SID (softmod installer Deluxe) this will have your softmod files. I prefer the version that does not say Ndure
4. AID (auto Installer Deluxe)

Both SID and AID you want to get the newest versions. Most likely you can get them on Xbin through IRC which is quite fast and has about everything Xbox related. http://www.xtreme-source.com/tutorials-x...nect-xbins.html

And you want to get the latest versions they show. They will both come with PDF files that have very easy to follow instructions. Should take you about 10 minutes. I also suggest reading this if you play on Live:
