Alright, I recently upgraded from 3.30 oea to 3.40 oea. But now, when i do a cold reboot, the psp start up sound and cool effects doesn't show the lines turning or anything. Also, my UMD's don't work. Some error message pops up, and if I need to, ill post the exact number.

Please help! Many thanks.

I don't know about UMD's, but i think when you update it changes the skip sce logo option in recovery mode to on. So coldboot your PSP and hold R while starting it up. You should end up in the recovery menu, go to configuration, then turn skip sce logo to off.

Yep, that worked :)

For the UMD's do you think my kernal has anything to do with it? Because it was at 1.5, then i changed to 3.4, but it still didn't work, so i checked it again and it was at 1.5..

Also, none of the things under the XMB "Game" will work. It turns black and it won't allow me to shut off, so I have to take the battery out.

Help would be VERY appreciated soon, I'm going on a long flight tomorrow, and I need something to do.

That didn't work... here's my config

Skip SCE LOGO - Disabled
Hide corrupt icons - Enabled
Game folder homebrew - 1.5 kernal
autorun program at/psp/game/boot/eboot.pbp - enabled
use no UMD - Disabled
Fake region - Disabled
Free UMD Region - Disabled

And this is the message i get when i try to play GTA LCS

The game could not be started.

Actually, I can play my emulators, it seems my back up isos don't work though. And the UMD of course.

Tried it, and it didn't change anything. Thanks for trying anyway. Should I just downgrade to 3.30 oe a since everything worked on there?
