sorry im very new to the xbox 360 back up scene, well actually new to xbox all together! lol
my question is how can xbl ban a system? isnt it just your account or something? also isnt there a way to get it unblocked or make xbl think its another sytem somehow?

im gonna waste my time retyping it! even though i usually don't do this. the answer is shorter then i already wrote! yes you are wasting your time reading this b.s just the way im going to do in exchange for you.
no, you can't unban whatsoever! unless some super hack comes out!

Untrue. I got banned two days ago. Decided to call ms and tell them that I couldnt connect. I got the "youre banned, sorry cant help you, cant tell you why either, its permanent, goodbye, click" story on the phone. The next day I tried it and it worked. Make note I had confirmed the Y: code and got the "This console is banned" message on my screen. So unbanning IS possible.

ok then bobbo....give me 1 post that said u were banned, in another forum or in this one...because i dont belive you at all....
as far as unbanning a console....no you cannot it is set by MS servers and puts a ban on your console somehow

you are a idiot that just wants to start a bunch of crap and get people thinking you where banned and got unbanned, when in fact it is more likely your isp was down.
I have lost all and any respect i had for this site!

1. I, too, call BS on just calling a customer service rep and getting unbanned.
2. It has been reported (but not confirmed yet) that a console can be unbanned by the user (not MS) through the timing attack/kernel downgrade. I'm sure there'll be more news on this coming soon.

You're a f**** idiot. Why dont you go f*** yourself. I was banned, I got 6 Y code, it said "this console is banned" and MS support said I was banned. Banned means banned a*******. And logging in the next day after the ordeal and finding out you can log into live (the next day it worked too) means you are UNBANNED.
Now go post elsewhere.

Well its confirmed now. It happened to me 2 days ago. If you dont believe me its not my f******* problem. I can play online again all of my 40+ backups.
