That particular piece of software is long lamented. Sorely missed as an independant. I guess all good things must come to an end. Sad But True.
Slysoft on occaision cops a bashing. It's my opinion that "Long live Slysoft and all it endeavors" "May they keep away from those bast*rds who wish to take away and never give"
roodog, sorry about the rant. I was just expressing a point of view.
It's great to know that you still have success with R4Me.
roodog-
slysoft has a free trial period of 21 days to use the software. They went up on their price last January, but the software is worth every penny. Some people say that CloneDVD2 with AnyDVD is a great combination. However, I do not use CloneDVD2. If AnyDVD can not get rid of the problems, which it almost always does, then I will use another ripper such as DVDFab (free) or RipIt4Me. RipIt4Me still works but it's only a matter of time before it wont.
CloneDVD2 has some good features, but I prefer to use DVDReMake Pro. A good free software to use is VobBlanker. I used it for many years before I decided to purchase DVDRMP. DVDRMP gives you the ability to change menu's, put multiple disk together, etc. You can read about it at http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/index.php
