Can I play ISO games with Firmw 3.11 on my PSP

I have firmware 3.11 on my PSP, I was told that in order to play ISO I have to bring it down to 1.50, If this correct or there is a homebrew software that works with 3.11, can somebody explain this to me.

To play ISO's you need 1.50 or a custom firmware. To get to 1.50 or a custom firmware you need 3.03 or less. So sorry you cant with 3.11.

Can I downgrade to any firmware or do I have to wait till they have one for 3.11

he means u need to get firmware 3.03or lower (2.71,2.81etc.)
im stuck on 3.40 right on day i got psp i upgraded -_-
and answer to ur question NO HOMBREW WILL NOT WORK ON UR PSP UNLESS U CAN MAGICLLY DOWNGRADE or get another psp notice i didnt say buy(trade cough cough)

no you cant downgrade, the highest firmware that you can downgrade is 3.03 with sony firmware 3.10 , 3.11, 3.30, 3.40, 3.50 you can not run any homebrew the only thing you can do is play from a original umd

You can sit and wait forever man, they are giving p a 5-6 months wait time, but I am pretty sure, that a downgrader for 3.11 will NOT come out never, Sony is preparing a lot of changes for firmware, so we will loose the OE versions, so better trade yours for a lower firmware, no other way and if you plan to wait, maybe your grandsons will find out if it was possible in a couple of years, sorry man, NO given time for releases.

I wonder if theses threads will ever end, I cant blame them, even though when I had 3.11 I never made a thread asking for a downgrader, I did my homework.

Well! Let me tell you guys, there always gonna be topics like this one, people new to this, like me that are trying to get some ideas, and actually this is part of my homework because I want to make sure that I'm doing the right thing before I mess up my PSP, and how do you research something without asking if you have some doubt!. So my question is 3.11 to 3.03 can it be done!

hey guys,
im newbie wit psp. i wonder UMD demo(my one is made in Japan)is the same thing wit Lumines. and what is the thing anyway?
second question,my psp is 3.11
i've download the firmware and put it iso file like the following root but i wont start the game.

If the firmware is NOT A OPEN EDITION! OE then you can NOT play games... why is it so hard to understand, I hope no more noobs ask about downgrading 3.50... cause that one is going to be impossible... anyways.
PEOPLE if its not CUSTOM FIRWMARE, if it doesnt say OE- and a letter, then dont ask dont bother downloading games, it wont PLAY THEM!

Not true there is actually a way to downgrade from 3.50 to 1.50 it only requires a lumines unpatched psp game, which could be found in ebay.

The post was made before 3.50 downgrader release. Please read the date before post something like this.
#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
Whatever happens, happens...
