ok i bot MLB 2k7 backed up and it is about 4.38GB in size and i burned it to a DVD+R and i used my SWAP MAGIC 3.6 to boot it but got a NOT A VALID PS2 DISC error and then i tried booting with the ZONELOADER but i got the FATEL ERROR CODE: -7 error so then i used CDDVD gen 1.5 and rebuild the ISO and I opened the SYSTEM.CNF file and i noticed that the version was 1.01 and then i extracted the files and put in my other backups just to make sure what the version was in the system.cnf file and on my other backups it was 1.00 so i changed the Version to 1.00 and rebuild it and I got it to work on SWAP MAGIC but all I got was the Black screen of death...any suggestions?

this is what the SYSTEM.CNF file says in Notepad:

BOOT2 = cdrom0:\SLUS_215.61;1
VER = 1.01
VMODE = NTSC

One guy said that he just pressed square (special boot) and got it to work, did you try that?

If I am not mistaken GTA:San Andreas only has a TOC of 4.19GB

Maybe you should try a game like Devil May Cry.

If that doesn't work, then I would suggest getting the cogswap elf file and loading the game with that, because I know for sure you can do TOC refreshes with cogswap.

What DVD+R media are you using? I would recommend a simple media brand swap depending on the name and media ID(s) you might have of them. Check here for a list of media IDs. If you managed to get the TOC refresh done and boot GTA: SA successfully, then forget about my recommendation.

can you give me a step by step instructions on TOC refresh because here is what I do

1. Boot SM 3.6
2. Press EJECT after it loads to the main screen
3. I insert GTA: SA
4. PS2 says INVALID PS2 DISC
5. I JUST SIT THERE!!
