I used the 3.40oe easy installer but im afraid to run it because underneath the 3.40oe-A firmware Install theres a icon that reads corrupted data. Is that normal? Im only being cautious cause Ive already bricked a psp. Thanks in advance

format your memory stick first while you are still on 1.5 fw..then run that 3.40OE winstaller from your computer again

Don't worry about the "corrupted data" its just files that the psp does not understand but the updater uses in the process.

PSP reads everything it does not understand as corrupted data, that does not say there is anything wrong with the file.

yeah, dont worry about the corrupted data files-but be sure to format your memory stick before and after upgrading otherwise you will end up with a bunch of them on your memory stick and will have trouble deleting them.
