Street fighter alpha 3 max doesnt work on my 3.40 oe-a psp

I have dled numerous copies of the street fighter alpha 3 max cso to play but when i click on it the psp logo pops up and is accompanied by a black screen and thats it. Is there some way to make it work?

it works, I downloaded and I have it running on my PSP and I have 3.40 OE A

Redump from your own UMD - the games been out an age and some of the first "scene" rips had to be messed with to work with the old ISO loaders.
Some of these games are incompatible with the OE firmwares as is. Full, Untouched rips of ANY GAME (bar cabelas dangerous hunts) work with OE
If you actually purchased your games as opposed to d/l them you'd already know this.

Learn to read what i said earlier duntani ^^^^^^ you just need to re-dump the game from your original umd
