well heres my problem
i have been trying to upgrade to 3.03 firmware on my psp but what has happend is that i go to psp game update and put the firmware in the update folder but what happends on my psp is that it says its corrupted data and i'm running on version 2.81 plz help me what are my other choices

Just run it anyway, and try formatting your memory stick first too, the reason it says corrupted data is because its a code that psp doesn't recognize

make sure the UPDATE folder is written in all caps, make sure that the UPDATE folder is in the GAME folder, make sure the pbp file in named EBOOT not 1234_EBOOT (1234 stands for any numbers)

try rename the eboot.pbp to UPDATE.PBP

if it does not work try use this
