PSX Title Screen Freeze

Hey everyone, got my psp modded and up and running but am running into a slight problem. Everytime I try to boot a PSX game it freezes around the PSP logo every time. I've tried changing the kernel mode, switching files, and so on. I'm running a 3.40 OE-A psp and some custom XMB/Icons so I'm thinking that might be it? Any help would be appreciated.

You can't do it if you have a custom coldboot. There is a way, but it involves hex editing and that's not my cup of tea.

Interesting, is this problem only apparent in 340oea? I'm in the process of putting up my original dump of the flash0 folder.
