I have a v14-15 PS2 with DMS4SE(latest toxic release flashed). This game always freezes at the great chasm scene. Any way to fix this? I have DL support enabled, shouldn't it play right?

Just wanted to add, I think GOW2 killed my PS2's brand new laser. Ever since I've been playing it the PS2 is just a whole lot louder. Anyways, before anyone says its a media problem I've burned it on Verbatim.
