I was wondering if all the new xbox360's being manufactured come with the unmoddable benq drives.

i don't thihk so, i know some of the elites are shipping with them but right now it is a hit or miss for the hitachis 78k, 79k and benq. maybe if you can find a core system for costco or something you might get a ms28 if your lucky. i find costco has some older stock, maybe because they don't sell that many console's? who knows.

do you have the 360? If so look at the disk tray and you can find pictures on the net that will tell you which drive it is. If in fact it is a Toshiba/Samsung then your set, most Hitachi's and your ok as well.

It all depends on luck or skill of using a list and being patient until you find the right one. I have head that places like Costco are good because they buy in such large quantities that you have a better chance of getting an older Sammy.

Nah I dont have the xbox, I just have that info from the outside sticker on a box. :(

did u check it with that database? That's a Samsung ms25 for sure. Flashable.
