alrighty. i want to put movies i download on cd so that i may watch them on my ps2. first off i dont even know if you can watch stuff on a dvd player with a regular 700mb cd. i only have a cdrw. also if so, how can i do it so that i may watch it on my ps2... you know wat i mean. can i put more that one on a cd?? well wat progs should i use??? HELP ME!!! i am totaly new and clueless with this stuff.

-What you want to do is make a VideoCD or Super VideoCD
-If your source files are AVI files, read this: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/43085
- If your source files are MPEG/MPG/DAT then odds are you can burn straight as a (S)VCD. Pay a visit to http://www.afterdawn.com/articles/archive/nero_videocd_guide.cfm

ok... i downloaded that tmpge thingy and Nero but Nero wont burn. it detects only "image burner thing and when i click burn it doesnt go, but it says it did. i have record now... help?

That means that as far as Nero is concerned you do not have a cd burner. What burner do you 'supposedly' have?

alrighty sry bout postin all over but i didnt know where to... anyways lemme give you some details. i downloaded TMPGnc to encode. i dont know but about this so this is wat i think is goin on. next i used Nero to burn it. i realises that its not really burning. i tried to choose recorder but the only one there is this " image burner. also when i burn it save "image" i dunno wat that is. well it just oils down to its not burning. no other recorders are present when i try to choose burner. i dont get it. if you need more details tell me wat to say

hmmm well wat do you know.... now it burns but i still dont know if its gonna work. im so new at this it seems like it wont. the main goal is that i wanna watch it on my ps2 lemme see if it will.

1. What model of burner do you have?
2. What are the folders?

you mean like 48x??? it says its cyberdrv
the folders arecdi, ext, mpegav,segment,vcd

It seems like you have all the right folders for a VCD... now are you sure your PS2 can play VCDs?

how would you view a VCD on a comp??? when i ope the disc it only has those folders

Use a software dvd player like PowerDVD or WinDVD.
