If you have a camcorder and a fire wire port you don?t need a capture card, use the camcorder! Run the video signal through the camcorder (I know this works for sure on Sony camcorders as I have one) and capture it in the PC using pinnacle studio or what ever software you have MS movie maker yada yada yada then edit away!
