PSP BLACK SCREEN??!!

Hi, ive got a 1.50 psp with dev hook which converts it to 2.71 for loading iso's. I put Ridge racer on 3 weeks ago and it worked perfectly nothing wrong with it. Then i tried it today and it goes to 2.71 version then when it goes to say a white screen and say psp it doesnt do it and goes black and the psp freezez?

Please help with this as i am a starter at this and am scared if i've bricked my psp. I am thankful for any help . taa

dump devvhook and go to a custom firmware( ex. 3.30oe)
you can get the winstaler from [url]http://www.psp-hacks.com[url]

If you turn it on and it goes to the home screen then it's not bricked. Bricked means you turn it on and the light stays on for like 10 secs and then turns off and nothing happens on the screen.

And I agree with shadow. Devhook is outdated garbage and you should get 3.40OE-A. WAY more features.
