3.50 Custom Firmware - Benefits of waiting?

What would be the benefits of waiting for a 3.50 OE-A custom firmware? Would the only benefit be would be the increased processor speed, but already released games cant make use of this can they?

you can already increase the processor speed with the oe firmwares that are already out.

Well, what do you mean by wait for it? You pretty much have to wait for it either way.. What will you do if you don't wait for it? =S

Sorry i guess i didnt say that. The reason why I would wait would be because I just got a fresh 1.5 PSP and there appears to be alot less issues with upgrading when you go from a completely fresh 1.5 to the latest OE-A version.

Btw another question is it a good idea to save either the Flash0 or Flash1 files on my computer before upgrading to 3.40 OE-A?

There isn't an oe release for every version of sony update. As far as I know, dark alex isn't working on 3.50oe. Mainly because there isn't anything worth upgrading.

#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
