OKay i have a question on the same topic... before going on vacation my psp worked fine then in the airport used trey to go online wouldnt work then i shut down inbetwen game and xmb screen... then xmb would not come on untill i ejected the game and after all that it would not load game....so recovered 1.5......bac]k to 3.03 0e c and now only some of the games work b4 dont work now any suggestion? I have done all the above..some games load then freeze and psp shuts down or exiting a game it freezes on the please wait screen.

Heya, i saw this thread and thought to ask a question of my own.
I happen to have played "DJ Max 2" (PSP)for several months now, ClockTower2 (PS1) and SCUMM (PC) Games were also no problem to start.
That was when i had my good old 1.5 oea installed. Then i got 3.4 oea and finally 3.51 m33-7 now.
Those Games i mentioned above are only playable in some kind of way.
DJ MAX is freezing (making ill sounds after the 4th song, blinking, freezing, restarting the psp), ClockTower2 just lets me into its start menue, when i start a new game or load a savegame, it gets to the loading screen and freezes too afterwards, and restarts the psp.
What is the deal with that? I don't think someone knows an answer to this. I have asked around and everyone had good answers, but...
Hope someone has a fresh idea nevertheless,

umm sorry i kinda lost my psp.. and i dont have that FW, but for me it woul be the same if you took all the no-umd modes off and insert any game umd, if not enable the 3.51 M33 no umd or the hacked official 3.51 sony no umd, and also use the ssttings given on this thread by ripperd, if that doesnt work then it must still be bugs within the FW.. although it could still be considerred and oe only.. reversed engeneered also try upgrading to the 3.52 M33 FW which is out now lol sony got pwned... :D
