dc adapter not charging!!!

today i was playin my psp and the battery died so i went to charge it and i plugged the dc adapter into the psp and the orange light wouldnt turn on and it wouldnt charge............ is there anything i can do???

same thing happened to me, i went back to woolworths, they contacted sony, and i sent it in the post to their factory. I havent recieved my new one yet. If its not underwarrenty, buy and emergancy one in any video game store...

not unless you open it up, maybe the fuse has blown. Anyway if u did open it up it would void your warrenty.

no i didnt open it up but i did get custom firmware which does void my warrenty.....
could it be the charger at all?

No, i mean if you open the charger up, then it will void your warrenty for the charger (1 year). I sent my charger back only because i said my psp was "personalised".

could i take it back to the store i got it from for a new one?
i do have a warrenty on the psp but does it cover the charger?

can it be fixed?
i dont want to send the psp back because i have 3.03 oe c and i dont want the newer version that isnt capable of homebrew

yes the warrenty does cover the charger too. I took mine back to the store and they said you cant just replace the charger you have to replace the psp too. So they contacted sony for me and i have sent the charger only to their adress.

Arghhhh DUDE LISTEN.
I sent the CHARGER ON ITS OWN WITHOUT THE PSP BACK TO SONY. i doubt it is your psps port, i am lucky that i have a usb that has a charger on it too.
Go to your store and ask if you can contact sony to get a REPLACEMENT CHARGER ONLY

well... you could replace the whole unit, all firmwares are downgradeable you know.
