hey can any body tell me the steps that how to install ps2 system data in ps3 and run ps2 game cd's the problem is after the download from onlinestores it is installing & quiting after that what r my steps to do ???? & my ps2 cd's r showing as data disc

I didnt have to do anythign like this to play ps2 games on my ps3.

are u trying to play a backup in it because u cant do that yet ps2 system data basically lets u play final fantasy 11 off of ur ps3 when u insert the ff11 istall disk into ur ps3 u will be allowed to make a 10 gig ps2 hdd partition so that u can load ff11 off of the xmb
