OK I am downloading the new 3.40oe firmware for my 1.50 psp, so... what do i do to get roms on it once I have my firmware updated?

Wow... Kids, you need to check all the emulator threads already started. You are inspicific with your question, so the best advice I can give you is to specify what kind of system you want emulated and search the threads, then go to somewhere like coolrom.com and search for your roms. Here's a list of the best so far:

DGEN, Sega Genesis
Homer's Rin, Gameboy and gameboy color
Gpsp, gameboy advance
snex9, Super Nintendo

There are of course many others but like I said, instead of posting an unspecific question you should search the fourms.
