I was hoping for some help I have tried to make several back ups of some Wii games. The games that seem to work are

Transformers
resident evil
wings island

some I have tried to download and install that don't work are
super paper mario usa
mario strikers PAL
mario party 8 PAL muti
big brain academy usa

I have a usa wii so I think a NTSC and the firware is 2.2u
I also have wiikey and have tried burning them with verbatim DVD-R and different speeds and with HP DVD+R at different speeds.
Am I missing something because I have seen many post of the games working . Any hints will be thankful

super paper mario usa = Should work on your Wii

mario strikers PAL = Should work on your Wii if Region Override is turend on (Use the Wiikey setup disc to turn it on)

mario party 8 PAL muti = Download the USA version of this game disc

big brain academy usa = Should work on your Wii.

Try another brand of media. Like Maxell DVD-R

Wii systems can be very picky at what media it will read. DVD-R media seems to be more compatible with Wii systems then what DVD+R media is. So stick with DVD-R media.

Burn with ImgBurn between 2x to 4x speed.

I did try to download the USA versions but they still will not work. I can go out and try a different media but I thought the verbatim DVD-R was the best you can get? . I will also try imageburn and see if that will work. Could it be my DVD burner? I would not think so because it does burn most games that I have tried. Oh and I do have the region override turned on

As I stated above Wii systems can be very picky. No one can predict what media will work for your Wii system.

I used Tayio Yuden and Verbatim and half the time they worked perfect and half the other time I got Disc Read Errors.

I finally went to Maxell DVD-R media and haven't had an issue yet.
