hi. i'm facing some problems in burning large avi files (about 695Mb).
i'm using either nero6 or cdrwin5, and they both burn my AVI-file normally to the cd.
however, when i play the movie in w.m.p. or real player audio, it comes to a point where it fails to continue playing (in w.m.p. appears a small message saying its a cycling error).
does anyone knows what this means?
is it a problem with my cd-recorder?
can i do something?

it has everything to do with the burning process and not much to with the program. Burn slower next time and you wont have those errors. :-) (i.e. 12x)

thanks for posting a reply, but i don't think the problem is in the burning speed. i've tried burning at 2x (it takes about 35min!) and the movie still crashes on the player.
however, i can burn audio, and image(bin&cue) cds.
strange?

1. Try playing the move on the harddrive... if you have no issues it means that the problem is during the burn process. If you have issues then its the file.

2. Regarding the burn process there are three major problem areas: (1) Burning too fast, (2) crappy media (I hope those arent Memorex Discs you are using) and (3) A dying burner.

3. What burner do you have?

4. Could it be corrupted codecs? Visit http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/48608 for replacements.

there's no problem with the file, i can play it on the hard drive;
i'm definitly not burning too fast. i'm using TDK cds which leads to a dying burner.
Ždamn, i have one of those crapy burners that comes with a laptop. i don't even think it is branded, just some generic device (my laptop is branded fujitsu).
corrupted codecs? like divx, xvid codecs? i can play all my movies, as long as i'm loading them from the hard drive.

but i think it's a bit strange being able to burn audio, and not data...
