On most occasions when I use System Restore the process completes but then I'm told that system cannot be restored to that particular date. Sometimes it does work but mostly it doesn't. Why?

Corrupted system restore point.

Why are you using SR that much? SR is a last ditch effort tool...it really shouldn't be considered a reliable source for data recovery.

Thanks,I like to keep my system as clean as possible and may restore only 3-4 times per year. How would a restore point become corrupted and how could I resolve this as all other restore points apeear to be corrupted also?
