You can rip the data (.iso) from the UMD, but all the files on the UMD stays on there no matter what.

Why? There would be really no way to write files to it.

What are you talking about? Floppy uses magnetics, UMD I imagine, like cds, uses laser etching. Apple and oranges.

And this would be hardware mod, nothing to do with hacking.

....... Unless you are being sarcastic, in that case...... lmao?

#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
Whatever happens, happens...

And even if it was possible to do whatever you said about the floppy drive, which im quite sure you can't after reading what blackvamp said, no one would use such a method since you can easily play games off your memory stick.

i probably should have clarified what i meant but i was talkin about usin the umd pspdoor frame instead of the floppy and using the umd laser light instead of the electro magnet read.

and yes i am bein sarcastic, if it did work which it might you might not need a custom firmware to dump your games.... then you can wear a shirt saying i love piration, arrest me.
