I guess Sony is like "fuck it, if we cant beat 'em, join 'em"!!
I wonder if they'll try to put some restrictions on that loader so we cant play the iso's we have now and then be forced to purchase their special ISO's from the PSN or whatever?? I dont think that would matter though anyway-I am sure dark_alex and crew have already taken that into consideration...

I bet the ISOs Sony are gonna use will have some encryption code or something, a code any regular ISOs don't have. The PSP cheks the encryption code, if it's right, the PSP will start it. No code, no start. But, this is a MAJOR mistake Sony made, because people could take advantage, or minipulate this code, or upload ISOs with the code on torrent sites. Sony, you guys are officially a bunch of idiots.

Yeah they are going to be selling them through an online store, either the PSN or a new one... Like PS1 games.

this is what dark alex firmware custom firmware already does
to load psp isos from the memory stick
i dont think that the game developers will be happy with this but sony only thinks in money ,they just want to sell more psps and more memory sticks

plus they're taking out the cost of the medium (UMD), and thus increasing profit margins. who know's if it'll actually be full releases such as those we currently use, or if it'll be some crap like retrogaming by downloading old titles (like we use the emu's for...)
