Well not only do i want to know how to install but i want to know if i have to have devhook to do it? If yes then is it possible to get fully bricked while installing it or using it?

The way I installed it was from the recovery menu,and just enabled the .prx modules in the plugins setting.You should get the cwcheat 0.1.8 version instead of 0.1.7,and put the seplugins in the root of your memory stick.Boot up in recovery mode and it should show up in the plugins menu.

I never got a brick from using it,and I used it on two psp systems.I have the regular and pops cwcheat activated on two psp systems and haven't experienced any problems.Devhook isn't needed,and if you have 3.40OE-A you shouldn't need devhook.

Ok now that i know u dont need devhook Do u know how to install Cwcheat 0.1.8 without devhook? I mean like if u could take some screen shots of u installing Cwcheat well showing me your memory stick and were all the needed files are stuff like that! That would be great or if you found me a guide to install it especially for installing it on 3.40 oe-a.

You Dont need DevHook to use CWCHEAT
if u got custom firmware (3.03 or above)
download CWCHEAT 0.1.8 From http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=1050
then extract it with WinRAR.
look for the folder MSROOT open it
copy the files and folders (except the readme) to ya memory stick,
fully shut off ya PSP and reboot HOLDING (R) trigger (recovery menu)
then goto plugins and enable CWCHEAT
and your done. now open ya game (UMD or ISO, CSO, DAX) when in game hold SELECT and your get the CWCHEAT menu.

Wtf when i hold down select in FTB 1 i get frozen and my psp shuts off. wtf????

I have a problem when I use this in Medal of Honor or SOCOM. Whenever I have it enabled in recovery, I'm unable to join any games. It says it's connecting, but then it freezes whenever it joins a game. This is really annoying because, I wanted to test it out online. Can anyone help?
Oh yeah, it's a TA-082 motherboard

EDIT: didnt read all the way, so my last post was repeting the other :P
Well is there another cheating sytem, because I always see ppl floating in the air while I'm in a game, and I get killed in one shot on SOCOM.(Oh yeah. Mods, if my other thread is in the way, please delete it, wasn't trying to intentionally make this in two threads.)

thanks for replying back to the comment but i put in the recovery setting you said and it still freezes but the game loads up to the first cut scene and then freezes. i was wandering in order for this to work do you need a save file of the game in my case gta vcs i was thinking that its because i dont have a save file that it keeps freezing as today is the 1st time im playing the game so do i need a save file if not then i guess the cso is fucked and ill download another one. also should the cheat program pop up automatically because i dont press select and it comes up and it doesnt even say cw cheat it says edison carter at the top and his the geeza who made a cheat device specifically to this game i think that the program might be written on to the game and this is why it keeps freezing.
any help from you will be much appreciated because you know what your talking about and it probably my shitty downloaded game which is fucked.

stop quoting what i say just reply at bottom of screen...
try changing the
NO UMD SETTINGS if u have it enabled then turn it off and put a game in.
also if it keeps crashing make sure u got the correct codes!
and try enabling them later on in the game...
i have noticed quite few games tht crash if u put em on to early or in middle of game...
let me know ill be up for bout another hour
