hi i have a dell dimension 8300 and the ram it has is pc32oou. what i need to know is will my old ram work in it. It is ddr2 pci 2100 they are same size when put up against each other but just to be sure im asking.

Try a program called Everest and this program will show you what hardware is compatible with your motherboard.
