Can u guys give me a suggestion or reason why this is happening??

I'm running 3.40oe-a

I converted the silent hill to the EBOOT file with popstation, then created the folder within the GAME folder, and placed it in there.

It work perfectly, first try.

Then I tried to do it with the first disc of FF7 that I got off of bit torrent, popstation first says that the disc ID is wrong, so I put in the id that was on the rar file. 94613 I think.... anyway, it converts it, creates a EBOOT file, so I transfer it to my psp, and overwrite the Silent Hill EBOOT.

So at this point I only have one EBOOT in there....the FF7 EBOOT I just created. I go to start the game, and after the Playstation logo fades out, it just sits there at a black screen. I can exit out of it, but it never loads the game.

Any ideas why it's doing this??

I haven't tryed any multi disc games yet, and i've heard people say that its a tougher process. try and retrace your steps(if you haven't already), and in the meantime, i'll go to work on ff7 and get back to you later.

Ok, I got it working... basically I just followed these instructions exactly!! i got Arcade Classics to work and also Final Fantasy 9 to work. I just dont know about the multi disc issue... im not sure how that's going to work out. I hate to find out after i'm 25% into the game that the you cant continue on to the 2nd disc.

Anyway,

here's the link to the instructions that I finally used last night, and that worked perfect for me! (thanks to core2kid)

you create the games as 2 seperate games....eg: metal gear solid disc 1 and metal gear solid disc 2 you put on your psp as 2 seperate games and just play one then the other

well i understand that part.

But theres something you have to do different with your saved game files.... I think, trying to load your saved games from the 2nd disc doesnt work like normal....

But I just found this on another thread, I'm I'm going to try it later.....

I found a new way to switch your memory over from disc 1 to disc 2 last night and it worked perfectly. This method DOES NOT require: CWCHEAT, any PSX PC emulator, or much brains =].

Step 1 - Play disc 1 all the way through and then save at the very end when it asks for disc 2.

Step 2 - Connect your PSP to your computer and load the disc 2 eboot onto your computer. Be sure your SLUS/SCUS Code is the same as disc 1!

Step 3 - Go into the PSP Folder and find the SAVEDATA Folder. In there open the Folder with your SLUS code on it. Cut the folder out of the PSP and paste it onto your desktop [or wherever you like]

Step 4 - Disconnect your PSP and load up the eboot for disc 2

Step 5 - After the game loads, smack the home button and go back to the system menu and connect it to your computer again.

Step 6 - Go to PSP>SAVEDATA again. There should now be a new SLUS folder with your SLUS number. Open it up and grab the SCEVMC0.VMP and the SCEVMC1.VMP files and delete them.

Step 7 - Go to your desktop [or wherever you pasted the old SLUS folder from disc 1] and open it up. Grab the SCEVMC0.VMP and the SCEVMC1.VMP files and put them in the SLUS folder on your PSP.

Step 8 - Disconnect your PSP and load up disc 2 your good to go!

Now wasnt that easy?! Who needs CWCHEAT or anything =]. All you did was have the PSP load up a new PARAM and config file special for disc 2/3/4 or whatever disc it is. Then you paste in the new virtual Memory cards and BAM there you go.
