Can anyone help. I have 3.30OE-A and while flashing to 3.40OE-A the screen gone blanked. I shut down and powered on and flashed again, but same think happened but this time I could not bring it back. The power light is always on and the MS flashed for a few second.

For some reason I could not go to receovery mode by power off the PSP and power on & press the R trigger.

Any suggestion & comment is much appreicated!

dude, im pretty sure that is a full brick. thats what happened to my first PSP. are you sure you cant access recovery menu? try holding the power button up for more than seven seconds when powering off and then holding R and holding up the power button again to turn on.

gangsta00,
Why are you keep telling people to pm you? If you got something constructive to say, just write on the damn thread.

This was a problem that had been addressed by the mods: http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/8432

#1: 2.81 -> 3.03 -> 3.11 DoH (no more :D)
#2: 1.00 -> 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c
#3: Ceramic white 1.5 -> 3.03oe-c -> 3.40oe
Whatever happens, happens...

Help wit the brick...

FULLY SHUT OFF PSP (HOLD OFF FOR 10 SECONDS)

then turn it on and hold (R) trigger fairly hard just to make sure.

if it still dont come up then best bet is to look for the un-bricker on www.psp-hacks.com other thn tht save it for spare parts on ya new 1 from ebay lol

(+[__]%) = White PSP Born 2.71 > 1.50 > 3.02OE-A > 3.02OE-B > 3.03OE-A > 3.03OE-B > 3.03OE-C > 3.10OE-A > 3.10OE-A2 > 3.40OE-A And Back To 3.03OE-C For The GTALCS-CheatDevice! LOL !!! AND NOW ON 3.51 RPD !!!

I think he did that already...If the power was interrupted while flashing, you cant recover from that regardless if its from one CFW to another.

@wcwtsoi did you try pressing the brightness button when the PSP is powered on like mrmcman said?

you should PM Hexitnow-I think he still buys bricks or can at least send you in the right direction, and I know that there are a few other members on here that can help or who buy them also..you usually have to look in their signatures-give it a shot..Otherwise keep it for parts...

Depends if you wanna learn the inner workings of a psp. You can buy a new motherboard and replace it yourself. There are video guides available in youtube. It's a very complicated process though, but a good project if you are good with you hands and have the time.
