Hi,

Until a couple of weeks ago I was able to receive SkySports 1 & 2 on Starview. Now all I get is SS2. SS1 now says "scrambled or bad Channel"

My provider is TW and I live in Bristol.

Do I need to update my firmware to version 4??

I am on 3.8. All of the other channels are fine.

try manual search the channels may just have moved frequency

Only update to V4 if you have a genuine SV

This happened to all starviews with this channel afew weeks ago you need to delete sky sports 1 and then do a manual scan it will pick it up again.

yes u need to have the station in question 'on' your screen , then do a manual scan pressing 'down frequency' when channels are scanned in , exit out , then locate the new channel( in all channels) to make sure it came in alright . If it has, go and delete the original 'bad' channel as it will still be there !. hope this explains it for u ?

On the manual sCAN IT SAYS
DOWN FREQUENCY 315.00
SYMBOL RATE 6887KSPS
CONSTELLATION 64QAM
NETWORK SCAN DISABLE
Im only getting 17 stations and some of them are saying scramble or bad signal please help

matchey before you do any scan delete the sky sports that dont work when you have then manual scan you will defineteley pick it back up.

The Emu is on and everytime i do a scan i only get 24 channels

do an autoscan. Once your autoscan is completed it will tell you x amount of channels found, exit on the remote and enter the Parental control section of the menu. Press "i" (info) then "2004" & you will enter the CAS system menu. (alternatively from the Main Menu press 1570). Scroll down to Key EMU and switch it on by toggling the volume arrows on the remote. Then move up to Nagravision and press OK select your area provider then press OK. Exit to main menu.

Thanks for all your help, I can now get Sky Sports 1.

I have never been able to get SS xtra though. Is this available on Starview through Telepest?

I dont know about tele**t but i can get it on n*L In Ireland.
I shouldnt see why u cant.
