So i bought a new 360 premium, now i am wondering what are the other essential stuff that I need to buy, I mean I heard about the red ring of death, do I place a cooler or some kind of portable fan behind the console. My console is in a open area with lots of ventilation space.
Other than that what else do I need to do(I mean become member of some fansite etc.) or do something in xbox live to get the most out of the 360.
I just need suggestions guys.
So is it certain that new consoles dont have the ring of death. I bought mine 2 days ago. And I am planning not to flash or do any such kind of thing, because I enjoy live very much and u know never know when u get banned. Please give some suggestions as to what to do next.
shiet i bought a 360 with a sammy from ebgames 5 weeks ago and got the 3 rings of death bad thing is they have a 30 day in store exchange now i have to send it back to microsoft so it aint jsut hitachi's i have both hitachi and sammy 360's but this is gettin to be stupid that a 360 out the box has problems....

No no.....get the quick charge kit and an extra battery!! The play and charge kit gets annoying cause the cord isn't very long. If you have a big t.v. and you are sitting a ways back from the t.v. do not get the play and charge kit.
