alright well it worked for a while.. and now theyre back. I've tried everything. So should I send it to microsoft, its been open and modded and the warranty sticker is gone. Am I assed out.... or do you think they'll still repair it?

If you send it to them they'll repair it but you have to pay for it if you dont have your warrenty.

even with the new 3 year warranty thing? I've only had it a lil over 1 year. How much do they charge to fix it?

mine got the 3 red lights last week and i did the x clamp replacement and all is fine

well I decided to try the "towel trick" and low and behold it worked lol.. dont know for how long but im happy again for now. Ill still probably end up sending it back to microsoft
