PLEASE HELP.

I have read just about all the tutorials and guides, but still I can not burn games, that I have downloaded.

I have a XBOX (with executer 2 bios)

I have purchased 10 games from a local car boot, all games work; these are on DVD-R

I have downloaded several games, via Overnet, through sharereactor. These are rar?s I have unrared them and extracted the iso file. I have tried to burn several iso files, with both DVD-R and DVD+R using loads of different software, nero, stomp.. ect. As ISO or UDF. But they wont play. I have tried CD-RW for the smaller files, but every time I get the message about wrong type of disc ect ect.

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG. ???????????

maybe the games are standard .iso
does your computer read the cd's after burned?
if so
then they wont play on your xbox
there is a program calles Xiso (people says is buggy)
to make xbox iso software
there is another program to make that kind of .iso but dont remember the name

Burn at the slowest speed you can. For DVD's no more than 2X and CD-RW 4X atleast to start. Use the Disc and Once option also. Sometimes it just takes awhile to find the right Brand of disc for your Xbox.

Are you using the same Brand name of disc that your other games are on since you know that Brand works?

Some DVD+R's that work for me are Fuji Film, Verbatim, Maxell, Memorex, and Phillps. Cheap DVD+R's I could never get to load.
Haven't been able to try DVD-R's since I don't have a -R burner.
