im in the dublin area and for some reason jetix wont tune in tried everything. could someone give me a frequency or help in geting this channel back much appreciated

The freq is 387.500. But there has been a problem with this freq of late. Can you get sound and picture on Setanta sports 2, as this is a problem on the same freq as Jetix.

the problem happened two or three weeks ago i woke up one morning switched on the tv every channel said scrambled or bad frequency
so i deleted all the channels then tune them back in they all worked fine but santanta sports 2 and jetix was missing
Instead of jetix tunning in eurosport came in.
any ideas. thanks

yes this happened when they changed the freq's . all boxes went down so something has changed if eurosport is on in the place that jetix was !. Only thing u can do is keep trying autoscan as I had to sort a box out yesterday and it took 5 times to get the channels back.. dont actually know if i got them all....

well lads just wondering is anyone elses epg non excistant at the moment. know a bit about these s**rview boxes from reading this thread so have everything right. n** ireland by the way

hey can anyone help. Have ntl dublin running v4 software majority of channels are fine but and some channels keep jumping and are not tuned in properly. Also some channels instead of names are call
TV 104 etc..any help sorting this out would be appreciated

Then I presume you have the time settings to auto. I have been noticing a few problems with N** of late regards signal strength. As they only have a three day EPG I cant see why it is been affected.
As said there is problems throughout on a few channels in localised areas, mine been one of them.

no problem scouser. when i didn't see anyone else reporting same problem. taught it was just local signal.had to check it out. Cheers anyway

hi all,
epg and time settings going strange having to adjust and readjust auto time setting ,cos when u have no epg day and date are usually wrong and i have v4 and i also noticed a lot more interuptions on n*l

I am thinking of getting NTL instead of Sky.I can only get it transmitted through MMDS (through the air and picked up by satellite dish.Will the starview work with this method?

Do you have "the box" or a Starview? As you say some channels are called TV 104 etc which sounds like "The Box". If so you need to update your firmware.

The Starview will only work with N** MMDS , (wont work on Ch**** yet), so yes you are in luck ;)

just got a phone call to say NTL ire and sending out a virus this evening to scramble all boxes, flashed and unflashed. I was told to knock off the box and leave it off for the night.
Don't know if this is a hoax,(hello sc0user pal) it was posted on the replay lite page.
I think we are giving the cable companys too much information about missing channels. If they know what is messing us about, thay will change all the channels to be the same.....No more box!
I suggest if anybody has missing channels......do a rescan...and if you don't find what you are looking for,be grateful for what you are getting free.
Someone should do a scan, save the channels and post them on here.

Thanks Brian and you say sweet dreams LOL. I will turn off the box tonight, just in case. But there is not such thing as a virus on a coaxial or MMDS digital signal. Maybe they were talking about an EMM hit.
If they haven't got enough info from here already to do something I think that they are quite slow as we have given them quite a bit :)
