as far as I know the original box should be 4.00 as 4.50 and 4.51 is for The Box

Hi all. Friend of mine is trying to set up his starview in the swords area of dublin. He has true cable and is on the CH***S network. Does anyone know the proper procedure for the installation in that area? Thanks

If they have a Starview 1 they will have to do this. If they have a Starview 2 called the box with version 4.50 they wont, as the box works automatically with C*****.
For Starview 1:
You will have to input the symbol rate 6875 and manually input these frequencies:
363.000 works 371.000 works
355.500 works 347.000 works
339.500 works 386.000 works
347.500 works 394.000 works
419.000 works 410.000 works
322.000 works 347.500 works
314.000 426.000
You will then need to add these codes into the nagra screen. Menu, type 1570, press nagravision, add codes on 00 and 01 lines as below.
KEY 00 = 4B 7C D5 86 E7 01 CC 96
KEY 01 = 8E 8E 46 FD 36 28 A3 F0
Turn key emu on, (menu, type 1570 and turn on), thats it.

347.500 is the frequency still on here ,probably cc works found out at the races

Yes N** changed two transponder frequencies of which was 387.000 and 395.000. So you would have been missing quite a few channels since 06/09/07. As said you will find all the updated frequencies for each changed channel in the link above.

hi all can a jtagged clone not be loaded up with software using gtrom loader or does it have to be the s@ymax program i got further back a couple of pages

A successfully jtagged clone can be loaded with any firmware pre version 3. The best one to use is the fixed 2.57eE api as this has autoroll enabled. Yes you use the gtromloader to load the firmware. Skymax is for reading and writing to the tsop of the box during the jtag process.
