Hi does anybody know if there is any new firmware available. I currently have version 400eE. Its just a few stations have gone down e.g uktv2 and jetex.......

They have been moved to 402.000 try re scan on that and you should find it there will be no new firmware for the starview at the present v4.00 is latest

kind of off topic here..
I have leant on my starview controller and it made it zoom in. i hav tried pressing every button but i cant seem to find out how to zoom out. does anybody know how to please?

Virgin 1 has replaced the FTN channel, so just rename FTN to Virgin 1.

hi all. i have a starview box but was thinking about getting a eurovox, i've heard it's much better then the starview boxes in terms of channels, epg etc. is there any truth 2 this. also how does the box work? in a similar fashion 2 the starview boxes, cable feed, having 2 put programes on it so it doesn't scramble?

Yes it is better than the Starview especially on the EPG front and similar all you need to do is flash it with the relevant firmware and it will auto update the codes for you.

has anybody noticed that the tv mags are advertising sly won as being shown on channel 120 on cable is it only virgin that stopped showin sly won or is it another sign that its deffinitly coming back to our screens soon?
does anybody have 120 to confirm what is shown on that channel here in the uk?

sc0user thanks for the feed back. do u know where i could get a eurovox? price etc? i normally shop at wizard satellite.com for my starviews but not sure if the eurovox goes under the same name there, could you tell me the make full name please. finally sc0user the firmware i require will i find that on satdownloads like with the starview? thanks for all your feedback and help mate

The firmware you need can be found in Eamos FTA Library at the bottom of my post, regards pricing etc send a pm to Fergusrb or Mainanm and they will sort you out. Make sure you buy a genuine box and these lads will make sure of that. I dont think Wizard sell Eurovoxs could be wrong though.

ok thanks sc0user. one final question regarding starview. if i wanted 2 share my cable connection with another starview box in my home would i have 2 get a cable splitter? would this work? 2 boxes on one feed but with a splitter so that both could recieve a signal. if it did work would the signal be weak? if that was the case would i then need a signal booster? sorry but im a little clueless when it comes to these things, i've only herad about things like splitters, boosters etc. thanks for all your help again

Yes you would need a good quality splitter, only if you have a weak signal after splitting the cable would you need a booster.

Hi guys!
Thought id ask if anyone knows why all the sv bxs around me (london)have lost itv 1 ??
Ive tried rescanning and also factory resetting!
All the bxs are on 4.00e
Cant seem to get itv1 back!

hi all. have a bit of a problem guys, my sky sports one and three come up bad or scrambled but all the other channels are fine. i tried turning the box off then back on again but it made no difference. i also tried deleting the bad channels and reloading them, they came up under their names but are still bad. anyone else with the same problem? would welcome any help thanks
