When you have time or if you have any more issues if you update your box with 4.54 firmware it should also help any signal issues as it contains more frequencys for ireland.
I had terrible signal issues until I put the firmware in and now the box runs far better.
just another opinion for you to consider.

I am in glesga and using 4.54 which has been fantastic with regards to sig. They say that 4.54 has more freq added for ireland though as well.

Dont want to start messing with the firmware now at this stage as the V4.50 is stable and i get no complaints so maybe best left as they say if its not broke why fix it

The way I look at it all firmware is the same as the original loaded except with improvements its like xp,me etc is based on win*ows 98,
at the end of the day if any firmware doesny work as you know you just load in your previous version if I have had any issues thats all I have done but so far so good I have had it in a box for about 10days and all is OK.

Thats a fair point big man, I will keep you guys posted of any new firmware that I think may be of interest or leave a wee request @ the group and I will see what I can do.

There are no new codes as the codes have not been changed turn your box off at the back and turn it back on again and wait for it to up date

is anybody on that can help me ive just upgraded from my starview to the box does anybody know if i can just transfer my channels from starview to the box usibg my rs232 as my starview were all sorted into an order and the box is just mixed up all over the place

Yes rich you can just make sure you do it right as the firmware is not compatable dont get them mixed up when uploading to thebox ok

thought it was gtrom 4.05 for the box and i want to transfer from starview to the box not pc to the box aint got an rs232 port on my computer
