make sure the cable feed is in "Cable Input" and they are in a digital area and no splitters involved

all info in original thread,original starview 1 vers 4.00 was working no probs,moved to blackro*k,go digital in house already n*l box, started to loose channels down to 33 and now down to 6 ,multiple resets and autoscan ,talking him thru it on phone and results dont make sense to me,tv102.tv105.tv106 etc and not visible,gone thru everything cable input ,switching box off/on and he has checked ccs bill also ,does it need adjustments with a 4lb hammer to tighten loose screw lol.

If you have all the channels just rename them to what they should be ok

non viewable channels! 6 in total no channels working

The only other answer is to get another box and try it and see what happens then could be a faulty tuner on it

If it works at your house leave the channels on it and then try it at the other house and then you will know it is a cc problem if all the channels are working on the box when you put them on

to all i know this is not right thread but i wanted to send out warning about killer virus pc,as i was told by a friend,if someone has ur email address and sends u an email MERRY XMAS DO NOT DO NOT open on any account,shut off pc pronto it destroys zero sector of hard disk.microsoft say most destructive killer virus known.
ps i hope the ghost rider does not burn this as i need my pc to answer my dvb/c discussions.lol

What do you think they are using at the moment they are already using encryption it is called multicrypt so dont be jumping the gun we will deal with that when the time comes and only then so until then happy viewing from all the forum members here hope you have a nice christmas and new year

hi cacti i think it may have been my box you read about with the new floating heatsink i chucked it.... that was 3 weeks ago still works fine and it doesnt seem to get any hotter than my other box in the kids bedroom so go with ferg's chuck it plan !!!
