Your box only updates the keys for your provider N**, the rest are default keys for other providers the box came shipped with.

Yep. If you are talking about your friends Starview problem, it is a case of either a bad cable termination, faulty splitter or just a weak signal. Has he tried it directly from the incoming feed?

yes i told him to rescan today/tomorrow and i will pick up box on saturday to look at it,and his go digital is working,straight feed from wall to unit,what is bad cable termination mean please?

Could be a faulty rf, (coax) connection. Although you did say he tried it from the direct feed and his subbed box is working from the same direct feed so this would tend to rule this out.

why would all the previous stations on box start going as the unit was running ok in previous location,last of all checking low/poor signal whats involved.

You need a specific type of meter although as I said if the subbed box is working on the same feed then maybe there is a problem with the SV RF connector or the tuner.

got him to rescan again and hey 31 channels,so told him factory reset,and power off box,on and autoscan again and again to see all channels cuming thru,awaiting results

hi guys n gals,sorry to just join in your conversation but i see that a couple of you know about these arnet kryptview,i have done what it says on disc that came with it and now when i scan can only pick up about 30 channels and on the front of the box it just constantly says 3000 does anyone know what problem is and how to sort it,cheers and happy xmas to all.

Hi Anto , Delete the channel UKTVG2 and do a manual scan on 291.000 and it will appear at the end of your channellisting :)
