I,ve downloaded the firmware and saved it to my desktop and then tryed to download the GTrom and save to desktop ,,when I tryed to open the software Itunes came up...your probably thinking what a plonker here

you need to right click on it and open with winzip or winrar then you just follow the rest of the instructions

Hi Fergus me again,,downloaded winzip also downloaded GTrom/and the firmware..do I have to transfer them over to winzip

Just double click on the files you want to unzip and winrar should open by itself, then click on wizard and this will extract the files to a destination of your choice, try putting them on your desktop so their easy to find and you move them again later if you want

you dont winzip the firmware you use the loader to load the firmware to the box

nope you dont have to just put the box on stand by and wait till you get the pop up to tell you it is finished it will also reboot the box wait for that before you remove any cables ok

Probably not explaining myself right Fergus...what I meant was before I remove the box from the Tv,ie,scart and cables to take up to the PC do I need to do anything apart from puting it on S/By

hi guys an gals anybody wanting a box super there is a certified seller on a particular auction site with the little bronze certified starview seller disc accepting offers of 85 quid its the seller that plays the annoying maddonna ringtone not sure if i can post the sellers name in here so if you wanna no it pm me or desb he knows it too i just told him

the box super clone is in production and will be available at the end of april..
NOT GOSSIP but FACT ..
they are making them as speak
i posted ages back that the box was being cloned , as i have sourcing agents in china as its were i buy alot of stock from , now they have sent me the spec and price list of the starview super box ( beings ii made them enquirie about the box before)
what doesnt say the box super ?
the company i posted are a very large manufacturer of starview clone boxes , i know .
look ive not got to prove my information to any one i just thought id share the information , i spoke with their manager ravi who tells me this box will be ready at the end of april .
lets leave it at that shall we hey
drop them an email and ask the question
i could post another 6 or 7 places that will have this box by the end of april but im not here for that , just thought id mention this thats all .
now if you would like me to get a sample of this clone when its launcehd and send it or any one else to compare / take pics then im more than happy to obtain the sample

Hi all,
That's bad news about the clones already. However ... I know that some steps have been taken to ensure that you can get an original.
Sorry to post about another forum, but there is an actual authorised dealers list on removed. I know that this list is provided by the UK importer of Starview boxes. This list also applies to kryptviews and D-Digitals.
At least this list would ensure you get a geniune box and don't have to worry about getting a clone. Hope it helps.
